Here’s a sneak peak at a few of the coolest flats and houses we have been honoured to sell at Invisible Homes.

Invisible Homes has exclusively taken on 11% of all Fulham homes on the market so far this year. Given it’s only our second full year of business, we’re pretty proud of that!

What’s more, we often attract ‘best in class’ properties, since these sellers find our bespoke marketing style more appealing than the ‘stick it on Rightmove/ Zoopla and hope’ approach other agents use. Since we’re all in need of a little stimulation right now, we thought it would be fun to show off a few of our favourites.

Queensmill Road, Bishops Park

This brilliantly thought-out home was turned from a typical ground floor garden flat into something jaw dropping. Most ground floor flats struggle for bedroom space, and young couples who want a proper third bedroom to go along with the garden tend to find the space compromised.

These clients realised they could solve the problem by digging out a front basement where they could put a master bedroom – with tons of storage and an ensuite bathroom. This allowed the ground floor space to be kept as largely kitchen/entertaining – and as you can see from the picture above, they nailed it. The two bedrooms at the front were fine for a child and guests/nanny. And check out how amazing the master bedroom looked below!

The kitchen opened up to a large garden which was big enough to add in their chic, heated yoga studio at the rear.

Hartismere Road, Parsons Green/Fulham Broadway borders

This Shaker-style kitchen is both practical and visually stunning.

One of our favourites was owned by interior designer Beverly, and her creative husband Nick. They managed to completely transform a traditional terraced house by making some really exciting yet effective alterations. As you can see, the layout was flipped around; the kitchen was moved to the front of the house, with the reception room at the back.

Having the kitchen at the front rarely works in our opinion, since most families want to be close to the garden to be able to keep an eye on their children, but the open plan flow, and added sense of space and light from the Critall glass-panelled entrance hall, made this version exceptional.

Not only is there a clear line of sight from the kitchen through to the patio, but moving the kitchen gave a more spacious rear reception room, as you can see below.

The quality of the finish was exceptional, with underfloor heating in every room and an impeccably cool design in each of the bathrooms.

Harwood Road, Fulham Broadway

This apartment was a master of deception; from the outside, a property on a busy road, but contrastingly on the inside, peace and quiet. The majority of the property was tucked away from the road and thus sheltered from the road noise. At the back, there was a charming and peaceful garden – its tranquility was completely oblivious to the hustle and bustle at the front.

The sellers cleverly put the bathroom at the front of the house, so the master bedroom, at the back, looked out over green with no disruption from the road. The property benefitted from the best of both worlds as its location was ideal, being only a 3-minute walk to the tube, yet it did not suffer the problems associated with being on a main road.

Mountford Mansions, Battersea Park Road

We couldn’t resist the opportunity to sell this rare and stunning find in Battersea. This spacious apartment was located in a beautiful Grade II listed former college and had 4m ceiling heights in the kitchen reception were extraordinary. Such an incredibly bright and airy space is hard to find without warehouse living.

The open plan ‘Great Room’ was complete with French doors leading onto a spacious terrace.
